Image: EPA-EFE/REX/Shutterstock Divers recover bodies from US bridge collapse waters In the cold depths of Baltimore's Patapsco River, divers have found the bodies of two of the six construction workers who fell from Key Bridge when it was struck by the Dali cargo ship. The two men were discovered inside a red pickup truck. But our reporter Madeline Halpert says the recovery mission is a dangerous one and divers can no longer safely navigate the waters because of debris from the bridge and hazardous materials on the vessel. The US Navy will soon use barges with cranes to remove parts of the bridge. As the inquiry into why the crash happened gathers pace, investigators want to know whether dirty fuel played a role. Experts say contaminated fuel can cause a ship to black out, as the Dali did on Tuesday. | | | | | | | | | | |
