White, from Orpington, south-east London, was among several people taken to hospital following the incident in the tourist town of Vang Vieng, a hub for backpackers. Earlier this week, Bianca Jones, 19, from Australia, was also confirmed to have died, while the US State Department said an American had died, and two Danish women died last week. Several others remain in hospital.
